The Forever Home Fund

Keeping the Promise

At Virginia Farm Animal Sanctuary, every animal who arrives here receives the same promise: You are safe. You are loved. You are home.

Today, more than 225 animals call our sanctuary home. Donkeys, horses, mules, goats, sheep, pigs, cows, llamas, emus, ducks, chickens, and many others have found a place to belong here. Regardless of how they arrived, each resident is welcomed into our sanctuary family and given the care, compassion, and security of a lifelong home.

When an animal joins our sanctuary family, they remain with us for life. Whether they are young and healthy, elderly and requiring daily medications, or living with special needs, we are committed to providing lifelong sanctuary and compassionate care.

That commitment comes with significant responsibility. Providing food, hay, veterinary care, medications, hoof care, shelter, fencing, and daily support for more than 225 animals requires approximately $145,000 each year.

The Forever Home Fund helps ensure that every resident receives the care they need today while creating the stability necessary to meet tomorrow's challenges. Rising costs, emergency veterinary needs, facility maintenance, and unexpected situations are all part of providing lifelong sanctuary.

Every gift helps provide the food, medical care, shelter, and security that make our promise possible. Because home isn't just a place. It's a promise. Thank you for helping us keep it.
