NCHC Farmers Market Collage

You partner with a local Connecticut farmer, invite community groups to staff resource tables, and provide cooking demos, samples, and recipes made with farmers market produce. You set up a patient-only program with a $10 voucher on farmers market days that is applied to their weekly farmers market purchases, to stretch patients' seasonal produce food dollars.

Last year, 500 patient households took advantage of the program to eat healthier.
And the number of food-insecure households continues to grow.

Norwalk Community Health Center Farmers Market is funded 100% by your donations, event ticket sales/sponsorships, and small grants.
