We lost our second-biggest fundraiser of the year to the weather AND we need your help.

Our Lazy J Rescue Ranch Garage Sale Fundraiser always makes up a HUGE part of our regular operating funds... the money that helps cover feed, vet bills, meds, mobility equipment, supplies, and all the everyday costs of caring for a ranch full of animals who depend on us.

But between the heat & rain, Mother Nature had other plans. We’re NOT adding a bonus day this year, but we also can't just shrug our shoulders and say, “Well, guess that money is gone.” So, THE GARAGE SALE SILENT AUCTION IS BACK!

This year we received SO. MANY. AMAZING. DONATIONS from so many people who believe in these animals. Now we need your help turning those donations into the funds our animals need.

The auction lots are LIVE by clicking on "AUCTION" above! What you see is NOT necessarily all you get! Most boxes are packed with hidden treasures that can't be seen in the pics, so winning one might come with a few fun surprises!

And please don't think your bid is “too small.” Every dollar matters. A whole bunch of smaller bids add up to something BIG for the animals. Winning items can be arranged to be picked up at Lazy J anytime after the auction ends, but MUST be picked up by the end of the day Sunday, September 13th.

And BONUS… September 13th is our extra-fun Lazy Sundayz event! So you can pick up your auction winnings, hang out with the animals, and make a whole day of it.

Lazy J Rescue Ranch is a 501(c)(3) non-profit rescued animal sanctuary in Goldfield, IA. Our rescue is dedicated to providing a forever home for animals with varying medical needs, mobility challenges, and for those who have been abused, neglected, or forced to feel unloved. As a sanctuary, all animals who are surrendered to us or rescued by us will live out their natural lives here at the ranch where they can heal both socially and physically from the abuse, neglect, abandonment, and poor living conditions that many of them have experienced. Lazy J Rescue Ranch is currently the home to pigs, goats, sheep, llamas, cows, chickens, ducks, guineafowl, a peahen, dogs, and cats. Here at the ranch these rescued animals are treated as individuals, each with their own name, allowed to portray their own unique personalities, given the respect and care they deserve, able to socialize with other rescued animals, and are given the opportunity to learn that humans are kind and compassionate.

In addition to providing a healing environment for rescued animals, Lazy J Rescue Ranch also provides education to the community regarding animal welfare, as well as encourages healthy, positive animal interactions to promote animal socialization and well-being throughout the community via school field trips, community events, nursing home visits, and more!
