For over 160 years, Girls Inc. has been a national leader in girls’ empowerment, ensuring they have access to the support, education, and opportunities they need to thrive. Our programs provide:

STEAM Education – Hands-on experiences in science, technology, engineering, arts, and math to encourage innovation and confidence.
Leadership & Mentorship – Programs that build self-esteem, decision-making skills, and career readiness.
Academic & Life Skills Support – Equipping girls with financial literacy, communication skills, and real-world knowledge.
After-School & Summer Programs – Safe, enriching spaces where girls can learn, grow, and prepare for successful futures.

From after-school programs to special events like the Fuel Her Fire Gala, STEAM Luncheon, and Color Run, we are committed to creating a future where every girl has the opportunity to succeed.

Each year, we support 300-400 girls and their families, primarily focusing on girls from kindergarten through high school. 79% of girls receive free or reduced lunch. Many low-income families can’t afford or access after-school programs. Without them, girls face higher risks of dropping out, drug use, and teen pregnancy. Girls Inc. provides a safe, empowering space to help them succeed.
