GET TOGETHER NOW! –A Charity Concert Celebrating the Life & Spirit of Singer-Songwriter, Humanitarian Jesse Colin Young

Proceeds will support a Circle of Charities –Get Together Foundation’s select partner organizations that help people in need in the community: The Midnight Mission, Guitar Center Music Foundation, Didi Hirsch Mental Health Services, and the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Los Angeles .

Rock Cellar Productions, in cooperation with The Tribe Band –a collective of top LA-based musicians & singers and the Get Together Foundation –a non-profit 501(c)3 organization committed to making the world a better place, present “GET TOGETHER NOW!,” a charity concert that embraces the concept of unity and diversity through music. On Saturday, May 30th, Angelenos will set aside their differences and ‘get together’ to share the things that matter to everyone: love, respect, peace, unity, acceptance, tolerance, one-ness, kindness, integrity, and togetherness. The evening will include and array of 25+ of LA’s top musicians and singers, special guests, and more all coming together and donating their time to share one cause.

One of music’s key figures who represented these deep messages of unity and kindness was singer-songwriter and founding member of the Youngbloods, Jesse Colin Young, who passed away in 2025. The words of The Youngbloods’ 1967 hit song, “Get Together,” “Come on people now, smile on your brother. Everybody get together, try to love one another right now,” represent hope in a time when there is so much division. Get Together Now! will celebrate the man, his music, and all that unites us – not what divides us.

The evening will be filled with some great music and some surprise guest presenters, and will include themed songs from Young’s solo catalogue, performances by a stellar rotation of talented singers, many recognizable artists, and will feature a taste of orchestral influence by The Tribe and its Rockestration strings. Appearances to date will include: Laurence Juber (Paul McCartney & Wings), actor/singer/producer Rob Morrow; James Raymond, Steve Postell & Jeff Pevar (David Crosby band); Kiki Ebsen (Boz Scaggs); Steve Ferrone (Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers), Carl Verheyen (Supertramp); actress Rebecca Holden (Knight Rider); Rosemary Butler (Jackson Browne); Jean Fogelberg; Dan Navarro (Lowen & Navarro), Carly Smithson (American Idol), Hunter Hawkins (Kenny Loggins), Alex Jules (Micky Dolenz), John Pratt, Canadian jazz/soul singer Christena Rich; Terrell Edwards, MJ Ultra, Tu Morrow, PLUS SURPRISE GUESTS.
