Our Solution

The CSP New Works Fest, founded in 2019, is an incubator for new plays by Caribbean heritage playwrights. Since 2023, HB Studio has collaborated with us as a vital co-presenting partner, helping the CSP New Works Fest thrive. Each year we provide:

Conch Shell International Film Fest (CSIFF)

A platform uplifting bold, original films by Caribbean heritage filmmakers through screenings, panels, and community events that expand global conversations about identity, culture, and the diaspora experience.

“Messy Coming-of-Age” Anthology Project

Becoming is never neat. The Messy Coming-of-Age Project celebrates the beauty of imperfection through intergenerational Caribbean heritage stories. Guided by CSP’s Co-Resident Dramaturgs and Producing Artistic Director, this initiative will develop and fully produce up to three new Caribbean-heritage plays across 2026–2027, sharing their resonance on community and national stages.

Year-Round Creative Development Programs

Online Artist Chat Series – A virtual space where playwrights, filmmakers, and cultural creators share insights, explore craft, and connect with audiences across the diaspora.
CSP Artist Collective Writers Incubator – Our monthly writers lab that offers dramaturgical guidance, mentorship, accountability, and community for emerging and mid-career Caribbean-heritage playwrights developing new work throughout the year.
