Join us at South Street City Oven and Grill at their Pine Ridge Rd location in Naples on Friday, March 13 from 6 pm to 8 pm to celebrate giraffes. South Street is donating $2 from every beer sold to giraffe conservation efforts through Naples Zoo. Plus South Street is donating 100% of the price of select beers and the Reticulated Wreck Cocktail - all available in a custom Giraffe Bash pint glass for just $10. There will also be a Pick-A-Prize drawing, 50/50 Giraffle, silent auction, and online buy it now experiences with the giraffe at Naples Zoo.

IN LOVING MEMORY OF DIANA MARIE PLEETER
Diana Pleeter with Giraffe Since 2015, Diana championed the cause of giraffe conservation by hosting this annual event. Diana and her husband Bruce offered the full resources of South Street City Oven Bar and Grill to raise thousands of dollars each year to help giraffe in Africa. She secured wonderful prizes from the community and vendors and provided all that was needed in their vibrant space to welcome guests for this fun evening. Diana was a dream partner in this event supporting giraffe in Africa. We lost Diana on October 29, 2025. As all who miss loved ones know, words cannot express the emotional depths of this separation. In honor of Diana and her love for giraffes, Bruce, the family, and the South Street team are carrying on and expanding her legacy through this special event.

COMMITTED TO GIRAFFE IN AFRICA
As always, 100% of what Naples Zoo receives from all these efforts are dedicated to efforts to help giraffes in the wild through Giraffe Conservation Foundation. Along with general operations support, Naples Zoo fully funds the annual salary of GCF's East Africa Coordinator Dr. Arthur Muneza based in Nairobi. Naples Zoo's Director of Conservation Tim L. Tetzlaff also serves on the GCF Board of Directors.
