About Girls on the Run Georgia

Girls today face increasing challenges—from academic pressures and social media to rising rates of anxiety and declining confidence. At Girls on the Run Georgia, we believe every girl deserves access to a supportive community where she can discover her strengths, build lasting confidence, and develop the skills to navigate life's challenges.

Each season, Girls on the Run provides girls with:

• Evidence-based lessons that strengthen confidence, resilience, and emotional well-being
• Caring, trained volunteer coaches who serve as positive role models and mentors
• Skills in decision-making, empathy, teamwork, and healthy relationships
• A joyful, non-competitive 5K experience that helps every girl realize just how capable she is

Because 76% of the girls we serve receive financial assistance, access remains at the heart of our mission.

Your support of the Sneaker Soirée helps remove barriers and ensure every girl can participate fully. Funds raised provide:

• Program scholarships for girls furthest from opportunity
• Training and curriculum materials for 400 coaches
• Running shoes, along with healthy snacks and transportation to the season-ending 5K for teams in communities with the greatest need
• Access to a life-changing experience that empowers girls to be joyful, healthy, and confident

Together, we are creating opportunities, expanding access, and investing in the next generation of confident leaders.
