Love God. Love People. That's where GodTown began. In 2006, Young Adult Koinonia opened a free coffee shop in Dinkytown called the Hot Spot, a safe, sober space for young adults to connect. In 2011, we moved to Frogtown in Saint Paul. We bought a foreclosed house and started renovating. What began as one green house is now multiple properties, community gardens, and a neighborhood in transformation. Today, GodTown runs food distribution, homeless outreach, leadership training, and housing programs, with global partnerships around the world. Nearly two decades later, the mission hasn't changed. Neighbors become family. Houses become homes. And love keeps doing what love does.
