Participating teams arrive at registration desk, Tucker Park, Maidens on April 26th, 3:00 pm, Road Rally Scavenger Hunt at 4:00-6:00 pm, Grand Finale Event/Auction at 6:00-8:00 pm. RAIN DATE: Saturday, May 3rd, is the rain-date for the CASA Community Challenge. Event Highlights: The CASA COMMUNITY CHALLENGE, from 4:00-6:00 PM is a fun vehicular scavenger hunt where participants spend time with SELF-FORMED teams, consisting of friends, family, or new acquaintances. Solve clues, complete tasks, and explore the beautiful landscapes of Goochland and Powhatan. Accumulate points by accomplishing challenge tasks that support CASA, our community, and our sponsors. Qualify to WIN Prizes at Grand Finale Event!!! Teams with the most points win the Challenge! GRAND FINALE EVENT: This after-party is from 6:00-8:00 PM. CASA Community Challenge/Scavenger hunt participants enter for free. Family members who want to attend the Grand Finale party and auction, but who don’t want to participate in the scavenger hunt, can purchase tickets for $25. The event will feature a DJ, PRIZES, free food, vendors, 50/50 raffle, and access to the silent auction. ONLINE/ IN PERSON Auction: Snag some online auction items now (second tab at this portal) prior to the Grand Finale event. Or snag the same auction items-to be finalized IN PERSON -during the Grand Finale event on 4/26/2025, while supporting a great cause. STEPS TO PARTICIPATE IN THE SCAVENGER HUNT/CHALLENGE EVENT: 1. Register as a Team Leader for Free!!!! *Skip this step if someone already made a team for you. • Scroll down on the fundraising page to "Team Leaderboard" and click "FUNDRAISE or JOIN A TEAM" to get your own FREE fundraising/team page. 2). Go to the Donate/Tickets button on the top right-hand corner of the website. • Purchase a ticket for $25 to be a team member OR purchase a "Bundle" ticket to register an entire team of 6 for $100. For families with children, parents pay the $25 participation fee. Children under 12 enter free! • JOIN YOUR TEAM (from step 1) or someone else's team during purchase! • Spread the Word about your own team/page with friends & family on Social Media!! Invite others to join your Team!! **Team size is limited by the number of people who can safely fit in the chosen vehicle (e.g., minivan, motorcycle). • Fill out the safety/waiver form. *Link is on ticket portal /thank you letter that is sent to your email. **Each team must have a leader who is at least 25 years old. **Each vehicle must be properly licensed and insured for use on Powhatan and Goochland County roads.*** 3). Purchase a T-shirt!!! Teams are encouraged to dress in a way that identifies with their team and/or CASA.
