“Live life to the fullest” and that’s just what Gina Putman did. She dreamed, she achieved, and she followed her heart. After many years in the music business, she left what she knew to return to school and pursue her passion in hair and makeup. A lifetime resident of Wilson County, Gina was building her clientele at BBC Nashville, when she unexpectantly passed away in August 2019.

The Gina Putman Foundation (501c3) was formed by a group of Gina’s friends shortly after her death. In the planning stages, two goals were set. One, keep Gina’s memory alive and two, raise money for student scholarships. The scholarship is presented to a deserving recipient to assist with tuition while pursuing their career in Cosmetology, Aesthetics, or Barber School. We are proud to have awarded two scholsrships in 2020, one in 2021, and one in 2022.

Our Friendsgiving event which falls under the Gina Putman Foundation is held annually on the first Saturday of November. This night of fellowship includes dinner, silent auction, and making memories with new & old friends. Money raised from the event goes directly toward the Scholarship fund to impact the lives of future students.
