It’s an evening of celebration, community, and compassion all in support of the dogs who depend on GRRAND’s lifesaving work.

OUR STORY: Established in 1996 as a non-profit 501(c)(3) in 1994, GRRAND began a spirited mission to rescue abandoned, abused, neglected, and unwell golden retrievers whose life circumstances changed because of owners’ financial hardship, divorce, relocation, illness, or death. More than 6,620 rescues later, this small rescue group has grown into a well-organized, all-volunteer organization rescuing 200 to 300 golden retrievers, golden doodles, and Labrador retrievers each year. Operating expenses are covered through donations, memberships, and fundraising.

GRRAND is headquartered in Louisville, KY, serves the Greater Louisville and Lexington areas, Northern Kentucky counties of Boone, Kenton, and Campbell, and Ohio counties of Hamilton, Butler, Warren, Clermont, Montgomery and Green.
