Silent Auction Rules

General Information

Bidding Opens: Wednesday, September 10 at 5:00 PM
Bidding Closes: Sunday, September 14 at 5:30 PM
The listed value of each item is an estimate of fair market value, provided by the donor and Gateway.

Bidding Rules

Bidders must register with accurate contact and payment information before bidding.
Bidders may place multiple bids.
All bids are final—no retractions or cancellations.
The highest bid recorded at the close of the auction will be deemed the winner.
In the event of a dispute, Gateway staff will have sole discretion to determine the winning bid.

Payment

By bidding, participants agree to pay the full amount of their winning bid.
When you register, uncheck “Cover Processing Fees” if you do not wish to cover these. These fees are about 8% to cover bank and Givebutter processing costs.
Payments will automatically be processed at the close of the auction using the registered method of payment.
All sales are final; items are sold “as is” with no exchanges, refunds, or warranties.

Item Pick Up

Sunday Pickup: Items will be ready right after the auction closes at 5:30 PM. Please stop by the pickup table before 7:00 PM.
Monday Pickup: If Sunday doesn’t work, you can pick up your item at the clinic on Monday, September 15, between 1:00–5:00 PM (1549 Washington St, Midland, MI).
Other Arrangements: If you’re out of town or need a different option, please contact us by Monday at 5:00 PM to make arrangements. Items not claimed by then will be considered forfeited, even though payment has been made.
Shipping: We’re happy to ship your item if needed. Winners will be responsible for shipping costs.

Liability

Gateway makes no representations or warranties regarding auction items or services.
Gateway assumes no liability for risks, hazards, or injuries associated with items won. All responsibility rests with the winning bidder.
Some items may have restrictions (expiration dates, blackout periods, non-transferability, etc.); bidders are responsible for reviewing and honoring these conditions.
