The following was written before I received the vet bill...it still very much applies and my determination still stands...

There are so many cats waiting for help.

I’m tired but determined to do all I can this year.

2025 was a really rough one but I'm so proud of all the work put in to help cats finally find safety and love and their freedom from the street. There is just still so much more work to do! I’m digging in and working hard to make 2026 the best year yet for as many cats as possible waiting to be saved from the horrors of the street.

Funds raised will go towards the much needed overhauling of Camp Halfway Cats to better serve new and existing campers. The funds will also help cover basic monthly food, litter and supplies for campers over the winter. Additional donations will go toward medical costs, such as Barry’s upcoming dental surgery and Coco’s senior bloodwork, plus the inevitable unexpected medical emergencies.

Taking it one step further...

2025 marked my 10 year anniversary in cat rescue. I know it’s impossible for one person to save them all and it's the reason why I’ve set a goal to share what I've learned over the past 10 years of rescue and socializing cats so others can learn from my successes (and mistakes), with helpful posts and videos and the currently in-progress Halfway Cats Club, which will be a hub for tips on socialization and how-tos for building trust with shy, “feral” halfway cats.
