On any given day in Eastern North Carolina, there are families quietly working to hold things together—stretching meals, searching for stable housing, and hoping for a little breathing room to get back on their feet.

At RCS, we walk alongside those families. Not ahead of them. Not in place of them. But with them—offering food when the pantry is empty, shelter when the night feels too long, and support when the next step feels uncertain.

It’s not just services. It’s stability. It’s dignity. And above all, it’s hope.

This October, we’re inviting our community to be part of something a little different—an evening where storytelling, imagination, and impact come together in a powerful way.

On Saturday, October 17, 2026, guests will step into the Haunted Histories Gala: Tales of the High Seas—an immersive maritime adventure filled with mystery, music, and moments that feel like stepping into another world.

But beneath the themed lights and celebration is something even more meaningful.

Every ticket. Every sponsorship. Every bid. It all becomes real support for people right here at home.

Because behind the scenes of this unforgettable night, your partnership helps provide:

Nourishing meals for families who are struggling to keep food on the table
Safe shelter for individuals working toward stability and a fresh start
Supportive services that connect people to the resources they need to rebuild

Guests will enjoy a themed dinner, live entertainment, and both silent and live auctions—all designed to bring the spirit of the high seas to life. But the true impact of the evening won’t be found in the décor or the performances. It will be found in the lives changed because someone chose to show up.

When you partner with RCS, you’re not just sponsoring an event—you’re helping ensure that hope stays within reach for families who need it most. You’re strengthening the safety net of Eastern North Carolina in a way that lasts long after the night ends.

We would be honored to have you join us in this work. Sponsorship opportunities are outlined below, and we welcome the chance to connect with you about how your support can make a meaningful difference.

Thank you for being part of a community that believes in care, dignity, and second chances.
