About Haven

Join Friends of Charlotte-Mecklenburg Animal Services at their inaugural spring fundraiser, an urban garden party, to support their boarding fund. The Haven program will include a silent auction (available online and at the event), a reception with light hors d'oeuvres, bar service, and an aerial performance by local artists. About the Boarding Fund

One way the shelter can recruit more long-term fosters is by having Friends of Charlotte-Mecklenburg Animal Services support them with our boarding fund, which covers a foster's vacation or emergency needs by placing their foster pup in a local boarding facility rather than moving them back to the shelter. All proceeds from this fundraising event will go directly to the boarding fund in preparation for summer 2024.
