Gateway Community College Foundation’s 26th Annual Hall of Fame will be celebrated Thursday, Nov. 2 and promises to be the best yet!

We will honor alumni, community, and business leaders. The auction offers novel, fun, Gateway-related experiences. The menu is a “taste of Gateway” with small plates prepared by restaurants where students work and learn. One is alumni owned.

Hall of Fame supports scholarships. Last year, the Foundation awarded scholarships to 122 students but received more than 500 applications!

We will honor and celebrate: The Gateway Nursing and Allied Health Alumni Group; Ward 6 Alderwoman, Carmen Rodriguez Class of '93; Greater New Haven Chamber CEO Garett Sheehan; and Dr. Keith Churchwell who is former president of Yale New Haven Hospital and EVP Yale New Haven Health.

The Lion Award for Outstanding Activism on Behalf of Gateway Students, Gateway Foundation's highest honor, will be presented to Representative Toni E. Walker, D93.

This year's auction items include: a beautiful basket of handmade goods and a soap-making class offered by Dr. Lauren Doninger; a VIP, behind-the-scenes view of fireworks hosted by Chef Andrew Randi; a winetasting class for you and five of your friends hosted by Zinc's sommelier; two tickets and a backstage tour of the Shubert; a dinner prepared by Ron DeSantis, Gateway Foundation board member and one of only 64 Master Chefs in the nation; there will be spa packages, Food; Wine; and so much more.
