This December, 7 Young Marines from our East Valley unit and two adult volunteers are flying to Hawaii for the 85th anniversary of Pearl Harbor. They earned this trip through real discipline and service, and it shows in what they're about to do.

From December 1 to 9, 2026, they'll march in the commemorative parade next to veterans and a crowd of thousands. At the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific, known locally as the Punchbowl, they'll lay a wreath among row after row of white headstones. They'll spend a night aboard the USS Missouri, the battleship where World War II officially ended. And they'll sit with veterans in person and hear, in their own words, what the fight actually cost.

These six kids earned their spot. What they need now is help getting there. A raffle ticket, a sponsorship, or a straight-up donation, every bit of it goes toward flights, lodging, and the ceremonies themselves. Help send them to stand where history turned, so they can bring that back home with them.
