Inspired by legendary artist Vaslav Nijinsky's final artistic pursuits, ballet star Herman Cornejo, a long-standing
presents a groundbreaking piece - ANIMA ANIMAL - that will make its New York debut in February 2025.

The performance will feature seven unique performances expecting an audience of 3,000 people.

Drawing from the philosophical foundations of Guarani culture, the piece tells a story of how love and community can offer redemption after the overwhelming power of progress and its contradictions.

Anima Animal is not just a dance performance. It is a celebration of innovation, adaptability, and the transformative
power of human beings when they connect with their true inner selves.

The piece was co-produced and premiered at the Teatro del Bicentenario in San Juan, Argentina in December 2022 as part of an unprecedented collaboration.

THE TEAM

Herman Cornejo assembled a dynamic team of acclaimed artists for this creation.

Leading this collaboration is Anabella Tuliano, a visionary choreographer recognized as one of Latin America's foremost talents in the past decade, and director of the dance company, Grupo Cadabra, whose members were active participants in the creative process.

The original score for "Anima Animal" was crafted by internationally acclaimed musicians Luis Maurette, known as DJ Uji, and Noelia Escalzo.
