Join us for an unforgettable evening of compassion, camaraderie, and community at the Hope for Freedom Gala! Join the fun with friends and family while learning about the work WPC Nepal is doing to prevent human trafficking, protect vulnerable children, and empower women in Hetauda.
Enjoy a night of philanthropy as we gather to celebrate the power of giving and make a lasting impact on the lives of women and children in Nepal. Every dollar raised will go towards our vision to end human trafficking in Nepal. We will host both a silent and live auction featuring items from Nepal, raffles, a dessert dash, drinks, dinner, and more!
Every year, as many as 12,000 girls in Nepal are trafficked into sex slavery, domestic servitude, and dangerous circus work. WPC Nepal fights this evil practice at the source by providing safety and education for at-risk children and pathways to economic security for vulnerable women.
By attending the Hope for Freedom Gala, you become an integral part of our mission. Every ticket purchased, every donation made, contributes directly to our initiatives that provide vital support and resources to women and children in Nepal.

Friends of WPC Nepal seeks to prevent human trafficking as well as protect and empower at-risk women and children in Nepal through trafficking awareness, women and child rights programs, education scholarships, job training, and our safe homes - a safe place for women and children who have survived trafficking or are at-risk of being trafficked.
We support the Women's Protection Center in Nepal, which operates two safe homes, a vocational training center, and a community education program. Our safe homes currently house 22 children who are at risk of being trafficked, and sponsor a further 42 children living in the community to receive an education. The vocational training center offers job training for vulnerable women who are trafficking survivors, trying to escape domestic violence, or are living in poverty. Graduates of the program learn sewing and tailoring skills and are equipped with a sewing machine and all other tools necessary to start their own business. The community education program runs trainings that equip people in the community to recognize traffickers in their community to protect them from becoming victims and serves hundreds of people per month.
