On Saturday, October 24, the Heroes in the Community Starlight Gala fills the Hofstra University Student Center to honor the people and organizations who make Uniondale stronger - and to power another year of programs at the John J. Byrne Community Center.

This page is how our community fills the room. Here is how to be part of it:

BECOME A TABLE CAPTAIN. Click "Become a fundraiser" above - it takes two minutes. Your personal page lets you rally your family, congregation, business, or block to fill a table of ten around you. The captains who fill their tables first earn bragging rights from the podium.

BUY TICKETS AND TABLES at byrncenter.org/gala/tickets - early-bird pricing ends September 1.

TAKE A JOURNAL AD at byrncenter.org/gala/journal-ads - from a $100 booster line to a $750 inside cover. Artwork deadline is October 5, firm.

BECOME A SPONSOR at byrncenter.org/gala/sponsorship - packages at every level. Sponsorships of $2,500 and above payable by check or bank transfer. Checks: print the remittance stub at community.byrncenter.org/i/gala-sponsorship-remittance and mail it with your check. Bank transfers: give securely by ACH right here through the SUPPORT THE GALA button - no call needed.

NEED THE FULL PROSPECTUS? Download it at byrncenter.org/prospectus - every sponsorship level, journal ad rates, and a commitment form in one PDF you can forward to your company or a corporate contact.

And gala night carries a second mission: the Build the Fields paddle raise, live on the ballroom screen. If you cannot attend, you can still build the fields our kids deserve at givebutter.com/byrnefields.

Uniondale Neighborhood Center, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) organization (EIN 11-2815433); contributions are tax-deductible to the fullest extent permitted by law. Many employers match charitable gifts - ask us how.

Sponsor Spotlight: Thank you to Knockout Pest Control - proudly based right here on Front Street in Uniondale - for stepping up as a Starlight Gala sponsor. When hometown businesses stand behind the Center, every program we run gets stronger. Want your business alongside them? Sponsorships, journal ads, and tables are all open through the links above.
