We affectionately call our medical fund the Holly Fund. It is for dogs that come us for care when the vets say to amputate or to put them to sleep. It is for greviously injured dogs who need extensive surgery and/or other vet care.

Holly was surrendered to GPRS with two badly broken legs from a hit and run. She had a litter of young puppies that she was still nursing. GPRS rushed to pick up Holly and her puppies. The first vets said to put her to sleep, that her legs were too greviously injured and would be next to impossible to fix. Holly endured multiple ortho surgeries to rebuild her legs. Throughout her recovery, she continues to care for her puppies until they were weaned and remained sweet and loving, even though she must have been in immense pain. She was adopted by a wonderful family in Portland, Oregon who continued her recovery journey. Now look at her! She's happy and healthy and our calendar cover dog for 2024!

The proceeds from your purchase goes to our medical fund enabling GPRS to help dogs like Holly and most recently little Archie who was left broken, bleeding and screaming on the side of a freeway in Texas.
