On October 19th, we invite you to come celebrate LGBTQIA+ community with us at NoVA Prism Center Presents: A Coming Out Gayla. The party will be here before we know it, so we wanted to let you know about all of the amazing ways our community is coming together to celebrate authenticity, support us, and make this event one heck of a party! Entertainment: We will be featuring drag performances throughout the evening! NoVA Prism Center welcomes Evita Peroxide back for a second year, and we will also be featuring Raven Samore! Our Emcee, Laura, will also be returning for another year. Beauty: We will have a volunteer on-site providing up-do hairstyling services! There will be a limited number of time slots available for the evening, so sign up as soon as you arrive. There is no cost to you for these services. Food: We will be serving appetizers catered by local restaurants in a buffet setting, along with having seltzers, soft drinks, and tea available! Hydrate before you diedrate, friends! Drinks: We will have a BYO beer, wine, and liquor bar! If you would like to participate, please bring a *new, sealed* beverage to share, and our volunteer bartender will mix from the chaos! We WILL check ID at the door and provide you with a wristband. Note, however, that this is only for age verification, and you do not have to use your government name to pick up your tickets. Dancing: Our DJ will be spinning tunes and keeping the dance floor going all evening! If loud music isn't your thing, though, we'll be right by the Lake Anne waterfront for elegant, romantic conversations all evening! Prom Photos: We will have selfie stations and an event photographer ready to record the memories of your Prom night out! Prizes: There will be raffle prizes and a silent auction! You get one raffle ticket with your gala ticket, but you can purchase extra raffle tickets online, or in person throughout the evening. Want to donate prizes or sponsorships to the gala?
