That’s where Operation Sight steps in. A local nonprofit based right here in Charleston, Operation Sight restores sight to those who cannot afford the surgery that can change everything. Each operation costs roughly $2,500 — but the result? A life transformed.

In 2026, as we looked for a way to bring people together — not just for another gala, but for something unforgettable — a vision began to take shape.
