The mission of ACDA is to inspire excellence and nurture lifelong involvement in choral music for everyone through education, performance, composition, and advocacy. Ithaca College’s Chapter of the American Choral Directors Association aims to uplift the core values of ACDA by providing unique, educational, and joyous musical experiences for all – on campus and beyond.

Our chapter organizes annual travel to major conferences around the country. This semester, we were able to take some members to the ACDA Eastern Region Conference in Providence, Rhode Island. The conference included masterclasses, rehearsals, information sessions, and performances from some of the most knowledgeable educators and ensembles on the east coast. Throughout the week, we were able to converse with some wonderful music educators, explore new and exciting repertoire, and connect with faculty and alumni. The funds raised by this silent auction would go towards sending our chapter to the ACDA National Conference next year in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Every fundraiser is crucial in making sure we can continue to have these important opportunities, and every fundraiser counts. We greatly appreciate your support in helping us to reach our goals!
