Join Moving Forward Sudan (MFS) for an immersive art exhibition honoring the unseen labor, resilience, and enduring strength of Sudanese women.

From Hand to Heart brings together painting, printmaking, and mixed media to explore what survival looks like in the face of war and displacement, through the hands of mothers, sisters, and grandmothers who hold families and communities together even amid unimaginable hardship.

The exhibition centers on the often-invisible labor of Sudanese women, portraying them as the primary architects of communal infrastructure and emotional grounding. Through the works of featured artists Yasir Algrai (Kenya), Dalya Ismail (UAE), Yasmeen Abdullah (Oman), the exhibit captures the sites of resilience and "quiet defiance" that emerge from within domestic and communal spheres.

Come witness stories that deserve to be seen. Come hold space for those who have carried the heaviest burdens of conflict, and never stopped building the world anyway.
