The mission of the Hull Foundation and Learning Center inc. is to provide programs, facilities and services including social, educational and recreational activities for people with blindness. People come to the Hull Foundation seeking connection, encouragement, and opportunities to build confidence and independence — and that’s exactly what we provide at every event we host. Whether guests join us for a seminar to learn or fine‑tune daily living skills such as cooking, technology accessibility, or orientation and mobility, or they attend one of our recreational retreats for high‑adventure activities like white‑water rafting, jet boating, or zip lining, they are met with support, laughter, and community. Even our holiday‑themed getaways offer a chance to unwind with games, cozy meals, and relaxation in our 12‑person hot tub. No matter the program, participants are guaranteed a memorable and uplifting experience.

For those who can’t make it out to the Foundation in person, we make sure they still feel connected and supported. Our monthly newsletters keep everyone up to date on programs, resources, and community happenings, while our Zoom workshops offer engaging opportunities to learn and socialize from home. From travel tips and book club discussions to trivia sessions and peer‑to‑peer conversations, these virtual gatherings help people stay involved, informed, and part of the Hull Foundation family.
