ABOUT THE AUCTION, ARTWORK and ARTISTS

The art guitars featured in this auction have been hand-painted by local artists. Each is an original artwork painted on a classical guitar.
Artists were curated by the local nonprofit organization Three Thirty-Three Arts as a part of the annual Creative Concord program.
100% of the auction proceeds go directly to Guitars Not Guns Contra Costa County.

Guitars Not Guns, Inc. provides guitars and lessons to foster kids, at-risk youth and other deserving children in a classroom setting with qualified teachers. No child is turned away for lack of funds. We are not anti-gun; we are anti-gun violence.

A collaborative moment that unifies community around the arts, Creative Concord has enlivened the City of Concord with a portfolio of public artworks that embody a sense of welcoming and an understanding that a wonderfully diverse community can be found here. Additionally, a 2-day celebration of arts & culture takes place on October 5-6, 2024 with live painting, music, and activities for the public.
