The Second Annual St. John Paul II Gala is more than an evening of fine dining and fellowship—it is an opportunity to invest in a mission that is transforming lives.

Since its founding, St. John Paul II Catholic Church and Campus Ministry has been blessed by the vision, sacrifice, and generosity of countless parishioners, benefactors, students, and friends. Long before many of us arrived, faithful men and women answered God's call to establish a Catholic presence in Denton where students and families could encounter Christ, grow in their faith, and find a place to belong. Their generosity laid the foundation upon which our parish stands today.

Because of their commitment, thousands of students have encountered Christ through the sacraments, discovered authentic Catholic community, discerned their vocations, and become faithful leaders in the Church and in the world. Every Mass celebrated, every student mentored, every family welcomed, and every life changed has been made possible through the prayers and support of those who believed in this mission.

Today, we have the privilege—and the responsibility—to continue what they began.

As the Parish serving the students of the University of North Texas, Texas Woman's University, and the greater Denton community, St. John Paul II Catholic Church and Campus Ministry continues to be a place where faith is formed, friendships are built, vocations are nurtured, and lives are transformed.
