This summer has been a busy one at JP, and we're so thankful you've been a part of it. Let's celebrate everything we've accomplished together... and everything that's still to come.

We welcomed Annie, our sweet 5-year-old cow, to the sanctuary. Snickers has two new brothers, Bogart and Joaquin, and watching the three of them run, play, and figure each other out has been one of our favorite things this summer. Rocky and Brooklyn continue to make us laugh every single day, and now we're working on a different shelter that's just for them.

There's still a lot to do.

Our biggest project right now is finishing the fencing for the donkeys' big field so they can safely enjoy all that extra space. We're also getting ready for our next hay delivery, which feeds everyone here and is one of our biggest expenses each year.

Then there's all the behind-the-scenes stuff that isn't quite as exciting but is just as important. Hoof trims, vaccines, veterinary visits, medications... keeping everyone healthy takes a lot, and lately those costs have really added up.

Every dollar from our Summer Fundraiser goes right back into the sanctuary. It helps us finish projects we've started, keeps food in the barn, covers medical care, and makes sure every animal here has everything they need—not just today, but for the rest of their lives.

Whether you've visited the sanctuary, shared one of our posts, volunteered, donated, or simply cheered us on from afar, you're part of this little family. Thank you for believing in second chances and for helping us keep saying "yes" to the animals who need us most.

Examples of where your donations go: Hay for the year: $23,000; Annie's medical/transport/stall making: $3,000; Rocky & Brooklyn's new winter shelter coming soon: $8,000; Medical routine care as well as emergency - exhorbinant!!! ❤️❤️❤️
