The Lynn Music Foundation was created with a simple belief: everyone deserves access to music, creativity, and opportunities to grow, regardless of their background or financial situation.

Since becoming a nonprofit, we've worked to remove barriers by providing free and affordable concerts, music education, workshops, recording opportunities, community events, and creative spaces where people of all ages can learn, perform, and connect.

From the Lynn Music Festival to youth workshops, open mics, artist showcases, recording sessions, and educational programs, we've seen firsthand how music can bring people together, build confidence, create friendships, and inspire the next generation of artists and leaders.

But none of this happens without the behind-the-scenes work that keeps our organization running.

Operational funding allows us to:

Keep our doors open and maintain our creative spaces.
Purchase and maintain sound, lighting, recording, and educational equipment.
Provide free and low-cost programming for the community.
Support local musicians, educators, and artists who make our programs possible.
Cover insurance, permits, storage, transportation, software, and administrative costs.
Plan and produce community events like the Lynn Music Festival throughout the year.

These aren't the most visible expenses, but they are the foundation that makes every concert, workshop, and community gathering possible.
