Last year, we moved to a new location—across the tracks, from midtown to the Southside of Greensboro, in the historic Warnersville community. This community holds a deep, rich Black history, but it has also faced years of being underserved.

Our studio now sits right on the line of Districts 1 and 2. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that this move would require intentionality. It’s not just about a new building—it’s about planting deeper roots and creating meaningful change.

Here’s what we’re working toward with this move:

Starting a community garden and offering nutrition and cooking classes
Providing free dance classes to children living in Hampton Homes
Offering discounted rates for residents in the 27406 zip code
Launching an after-school program for nearby elementary schools

This transition is not just about expanding our programs—it’s about enhancing the work we’ve been doing for the past 16 years, using dance as a tool to inspire and uplift. We’re more than a dance studio; we’re becoming a true Wellness Center, dedicated to enriching the lives of youth and equipping the community with resources to thrive.
