Kevin Nichols has been drawing for as long as he can remember. His mother often joked that giving him a pencil and paper was the only way to keep him still — otherwise, if the family was on the move, he was kept on a leash (true story).

That early passion grew into a lifelong obsession with pencil realism — portraits, mashups, and landmark renderings that he now shares at comic cons and galleries across the country.

In February 2024, Kevin’s wife, Dana Hill, was diagnosed with Huntington’s Disease (HD), a rare genetic brain disorder that gradually affects movement, memory, and personality. Dana has already lost both her grandmother and father to HD — a cruel reminder that this is truly a family disease, passed down with a 50% chance from parent to child. Today, an estimated 42,000 Americans live with HD.

Recently, hope has emerged: the experimental gene therapy AMT-130 showed it could slow HD progression by 75%. But the treatment remains in trials, requires invasive surgery, and is expected to be extremely expensive once available. That makes research, funding, and awareness more critical than ever.

This exhibition is about more than artwork. It is about 2 things:

Raising funds and visibility for Huntington’s research.
Helping Kevin and Dana navigate this new chapter together.

The auction begins with a baseline commitment: 10% of all proceeds will go directly to Huntington’s Disease research. As the fundraiser grows, so will the donation:

At $25,000 raised → 15% donated
At $50,000 raised → 20% donated
At $75,000 raised → 25% donated
Capped at 30%

This means that every bid not only supports Kevin and Dana, but also pushes more resources toward the fight for a cure.

The collection includes 30+ originals, valued between $500 and $25,000, along with signed prints and canvases starting at $50 (more items will be added periodically before the finale). Whether attending in person, bidding online, or simply sharing the story, every act of support fuels both hope and impact.
