Little Angels of Mary 😇

Our Mission is to be instruments of God’s love by providing nutritional support and quality education for disadvantaged children and youth, and creating entrepreneurial opportunities for women from marginalized and indigenous communities in Guatemala.

We work in Santa Apolonia, Guatemala, where 69% of children under the age of 5 are malnourished. We have two preschools in the villages of Chuachún and Chiquex where we provide quality education, daily breakfasts and nutritional support to our preschoolers and their families. We have literacy classes for mothers and young women of our community who don't know how to read or write. We provide scholarships to women to learn dressmaking and work directly with artisans who make beautiful beaded items.

Our vision is to live in a world where we all see each other as brothers and sisters. We dream of a world where all children have the same opportunities to thrive and be happy.

Our work and actions are inspired by the values of the Gospel and the Mayan culture.
