Jamison (Jami) Manning passed away unexpectedly on April 22nd, 2015 due to complications during her battle with ovarian cancer. Jami was a wife, daughter, sister, and aunt. Those of us who knew Jami are united by the memory of her extraordinary and steadfast character; her generosity and giving spirit, her insightful wit, her contagious joy, and her unrelenting appreciation for life.

From 2016-2019, the benefit concert “La Sorella: Rock for Jami” has raised over $65,000 for Ovarian Cancer Research Alliance. After taking a hiatus during the pandemic, we are thrilled to announce that “La Sorella: Rock for Jami” is returning in 2023! The fourth iteration of our benefit concert will take place on Saturday, June 10th at Alter Brewing in Downers Grove, IL. The event will feature multiple bands, food and drinks, raffle items, and more!

Proceeds from the event will once again benefit the Ovarian Cancer Research Alliance (OCRA). OCRA is the largest global organization dedicated to fighting ovarian cancer by advancing research to prevent, treat and defeat ovarian cancer, supporting women and their families before, during, and beyond diagnosis, and working with all levels of government to ensure ovarian cancer is a policymaking priority.
