LABF Mentorship Program creates life experiences that lead to volunteer and staff opportunities at LABF!

You can provide an opportunity for one of our LABF community members to join LABF's "One-on-One" Outdoor Adventures Mentoring Program tailored for neurodiverse or differently abled Mentees that want to explore their love for fishing even more!

Lucky and Blessed Fishing has been proudly mentoring our amazing youth and adult attendees for the past three years and several have been onboarded as "Work-Share Volunteers" and some are now on Staff!

Now, we’re excited to introduce something even more personalized – our One-on-One Mentorship Program being offered to our LABF Families and LABF Community Partner Program clients that want to take a deeper dive into being part of the LABF Community!

This unique summer program pairs your mentee with different abilities with a dedicated LABF Mentor for two adaptive fishing experiences per month. It’s more than just fishing – it’s about mentorship, friendship, confidence-building, and unforgettable memories in nature while developing life skills.

Program Features:

One-on-One Mentor Match: Your child will be paired with a trained, compassionate LABF Angler/Mentor.
Customized Outdoor Activities: Adaptive fishing experiences tailored to your child’s interests and abilities.
Safe & Supportive Environment: Supervised sessions focused on inclusion, joy and connection.
Family-Friendly Setting: Siblings and caregivers are welcome to participate or relax nearby!
Training to become an LABF Work-Share Volunteer
NO COST with Scholarship through LABF Sponsor (Normally $495/mth)

Program Schedule:

When: Weekday afternoons time TBD (July & August 2025)
Where: Local waterfronts and parks (Details provided upon registration)
