Having now awarded 25 scholarships worth over $33,000 to individuals pursuing careers in the skilled trades, Little Red Acorn is back with our Second Annual Scholarship Shootout at Etowah Valley Sporting Clays in Dawsonville, GA. This year's event promises to be even better starting with the date – FRIDAY, December 4th!

In addition to awarding scholarships to apprentices at Trades Education Center, the past year saw Little Red Acorn awarding scholarships to two students enrolled at Lanier Technical College, four young ladies becoming Master Seamstresses in the Dominican Republic through CUPS Mission, and sponsoring Student Leaders at Heroes Elementary School in Jackson County, GA and a Bocce Ball Court for Gwinnett Special Forces. Running ahead of today's news headlines, Little Red Acorn is poised to help many more people enter the skilled trades through growing partnerships with local businesses, industry leaders, and other like-minded nonprofits.

The Little Red Acorn's Second Annual Scholarship Shootout is a charity skeet shoot bringing together businesses, community leaders, and supporters to fund scholarships for students entering the trades. There's nothing quite like having fun while supporting a cause that can have a direct impact not just on your community, but possibly your own business.
