Empowering Youth Global Connection (EYGC) now has a physical location for our "Reading Safari"

Library and we would like to open it to the public for all to use in Zeeland, Michigan!!!

EYGC has over 600 titles of books and games that come from around the world, celebrate the cultures of the world share stories from the usually unheard voices, dual language, and celebrate diversity. These books cover all corners of the Earth, all reading levels and tackle the easy and hard questions of our global population.

To make this space open as often as possible for the community we need a bit of help. GENTEX has offered a dollar for dollar matching grant!!!!!!! SO your dollar actually is TWO dollars!! The matching grant offer is good Until June 30th, 2024. We just need to raise $3,675 and Gentex will pay the other half needed.

WHAT!!! $3,675 x 2 what does EYGC need that??? Glad you asked, In order for EYGC to open and keep this library open we need to pay rent for the space, get a baby changing station for the attached bathroom, a computer to help us catalog and check out books, background checks for all of our volunteers, NEW bilingual books, Signs so you know where our library is and some decor for the space.
