Launched in 2025, Rejoice Project's BUILD Campaign is establishing a permanent Empowerment Center in Kenya to equip local church pastors and leaders with the tools to effectively serve their communities. Believing that lasting change begins with the local church, Rejoice Project collaborated with these leaders to shape the Center’s vision and design.

The 2026 LOVE GALA will benefit finish the construction projects in BUILD Phase 1 in order to move forward with future Phases of building including the Training & Retreat Center at the Empowerment Center. The remainder of Phase 1 goals include an outdoor community kitchen, property gate & guard house and public bathrooms.

The Empowerment Center will serve as a community gathering space welcomes pastors, church leaders, teachers, community leaders, and parents with safety and intentionality. Retreats and pastor trainings hosted here will provide a unique opportunity for rest, refueling, and empowerment as guests step away from the challenges of life and receive equipping and encouragement. The space will also host Rejoice Camps that help children grow in purpose, dignity, and hope through mentorship and faith-based learning. With resource libraries, classroom space, and guest rooms, the center will equip community members with essential training and resources empowering them to ignite change-- fostering collaboration and revitalization to impact future generations.

Entering its 18th year of ministry in Kenya, Rejoice Project empowers church leaders serving vulnerable communities through holistic discipleship, mobilized care, and community development. The ministry reaches over 3,000 families and 15,000 children across 95 partner churches through mentorship, leadership training and Rejoice education programs. In the past four years, more than 900 families have received sustainable water filters through its Clean Water Program. Rejoice Project believes the local church is the catalyst for generational change through the transformative power of the gospel.
