LueWish serves women who are experiencing life altering issues due to cancer, heart disease, and domestic violence. In the midst of their vulnerability, they encounter loss, grief, shame, guilt, hardship, isolation, and fear of not knowing “what to do”. LueWish desires to be the touch of compassion and care that leads to restoration. This inspires women to live, love, and laugh out loud in spite of.

Women are the epitome of strength and resilience. When life happens, they don’t stop being wives, mothers, daughters, caregivers, employees, ministry workers, business owners, sorority sisters, or community pillars. Even with the weight of life, women keep moving with their heads held high.

The greatest story we can ever write is the story we pin to someone else’s book of life. A woman’s story is more than a diagnosis or a bad relationship. Our mission is to impact their story by granting wishes and creating a community of care for them to thrive and survive.

As a human service organization, LueWish seeks to expand our development opportunities, improve communications, foster financial sustainability, and enhance our branding footprint while supporting those affected by life-altering issues.

Our organization has a proven commitment to the vision and mission through acts of service, ministry of presence, meeting human needs in the moment, and a bridge to resources through well-developed partnerships.

Our footprint continues to grow in the communities in which we serve. However, so do our needs. We recognize that we have a full-time problem with a part-time solution. Building our organizational capacity to solve this problem requires funding.
