Quest and College of Charleston's Quest on Campus are proud to announce our May fundraising campaign, BRIDGE THE GAP.

In honor of Mental Health Awareness Month, we're aiming to get over 1,000 individuals from our community to partake in our daily solidarity walks to the top of the Arthur Ravenel Jr. Bridge. The alarming 78% increase in suicide attempts in Charleston County in recent years (‘20-’21) emphasizes the urgency of challenging traditional approaches to mental health and shining a light on stories too often left untold.

Young adults and students are some of the most impacted by mental health issues, so we're focusing on strengthening their MENTAL FITNESS because it's our belief that staying in shape mentally is just as important as staying in shape physically. Strengthening the mind builds resilience, empowering individuals to rebound from setbacks and navigate life's fluctuations with grace.

Our campaign is not just about walking; it's about coming together as a community to support one another. Each day of the month will be dedicated to honoring individuals who have lost their battle with mental illness. Quest on Campus students and volunteers will guide our walks, providing support, sharing resources, and fostering a sense of solidarity among participants.

Together, we can make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals and families, honoring those we have lost and empowering those who seek help.
