California Lawyers for the Arts is pleased to be celebrating our 17th annual Artistic License Awards at Sierra 2 Center in Sacramento, CA on Sunday, June 1, 2025.

The Artistic License Awards were conceived in 2008 with the purpose of recognizing people and organizations who have championed the arts in extraordinary ways for the communities they serve. Past honorees have included law firms that have made significant pro bono contributions to the arts, elected leaders who have fought for governmental support for the arts, and artists and arts organizations for their community-building and leadership.

Funds raised through this statewide auction will be used to support more than 11,000 persons and organizations we annually serve through our legal, educational and alternative dispute resolution programs for the arts, as well as our special initiatives and community development programs for underserved youth and system impacted individuals.
