On Saturday, August 22, friends of Great Smoky Mountains Institute at Tremont will gather for an unforgettable evening celebrating the people, places, and experiences that connect us with the natural world. Whether you’re joining us at Marblegate or bidding from afar, you can be part of the celebration.

Explore an exceptional collection of experiences, artwork, travel, dining, spirits, outdoor adventures, and one-of-a-kind items generously contributed by Tremont’s community of supporters. Place your bids, watch your favorites, and check back often. The competition may be friendly, but it can move quickly!

Every bid supports Tremont’s work to connect people with nature through experiential outdoor learning in the Smokies. For more than 55 years, Tremont has helped children, educators, families, and adults experience the wonder of learning outdoors. Our residential programs inside Great Smoky Mountains National Park invite participants to explore, ask questions, build confidence, and develop a lasting relationship with the natural world.

Today, that work is more important than ever. Children spend most of their lives indoors, often disconnected from the places that sustain them. Tremont is working to change that by expanding access to immersive outdoor education, supporting teachers, strengthening communities, and helping ensure that more young people have the opportunity to learn in and from nature.
