Rock ‘N’ Rollin’ for Tahoe Truckee School of Music ❄️🎸

This holiday season, we’re turning up the volume for a very special night of music, community, and giving!

Native Truckee musician and country-rocker Mark Mackay is returning to his roots for one night only as part of his Rock ‘N’ Rollin’ Guitar Slingin’ Christmas Tour. Mark and his band are coming from Nashville to the Truckee Community Arts Center on Saturday, December 19, 2026 at 6:00 PM for a festive evening filled with rock ‘n’ roll, Christmas favorites, and plenty of holiday spirit.

What makes this concert especially meaningful is that Mark is generously donating ALL proceeds from the evening to Tahoe Truckee School of Music.

Every ticket purchased directly supports our nonprofit mission to make music education accessible, inspiring, and available to people throughout the Tahoe-Truckee community. From private lessons and youth programs to performances, camps, community events, and opportunities for local musicians to connect and grow, your support helps us continue building a community where music can thrive.

For Mark, supporting music education is personal.

“This show has a special meaning for me. First of all, going to music school and taking piano lessons is how I got started in the music industry. I think we all need to do a better job of encouraging people to play instruments!”
— Mark Mackay

Truckee also holds a special place in Mark’s story. After spending time here working in the ski industry, returning to perform — and giving back to the community he once called home — makes this Christmas concert even more meaningful.

Mark Mackay brings together the storytelling soul of country music with the energy of rock ‘n’ roll. Known for his dynamic guitar playing, charismatic stage presence, and road-tested live performances, Mark is bringing an all-star cast along for a night featuring Christmas standards, fan favorites, and plenty of surprises.

Make Your Night Extra Festive with VIP 🎟️

A limited number of VIP tickets are available for the first three rows and include early 5:00 PM entry, plus complimentary drinks and appetizers in the green room throughout the show.

Can’t Make the Concert? You Can Still Be Part of It. ❤️

If you aren’t able to join us in person, please consider making a donation through this campaign. Every contribution helps Tahoe Truckee School of Music continue bringing music education, creative opportunities, and live music experiences to our community.

Whether you buy a ticket, choose VIP, make a donation, or share the event with friends, you’re helping us keep music playing in Tahoe-Truckee.

Come celebrate the holidays, support local music education, and Rock ‘N’ Roll into Christmas with us! 🎄🎸
