It's that time again! The Mendelssohn Medley is back, and we can't wait to celebrate with you. Join us for our annual fundraiser featuring great music, great company, delicious bites, and a silent auction, all in support of another extraordinary season under the baton of Artistic Director & Conductor Dominick DiOrio.

Shining a Spotlight On: Ting Ting Wong

This year, we are proud to honor someone who has become an irreplaceable part of our musical community: Ting Ting Wong. Since joining the Mendelssohn Chorus as our collaborative pianist in 2017, Ting Ting has grown into one of our most cherished artistic voices. Her brilliance at the keyboard is matched only by the warmth and joy she brings to every rehearsal and performance. Over the years, her role has grown to reflect the depth of her talent — and today, as our Senior Artist-in-Residence, her solo piano work has become a highlight of our concert season, most especially at our beloved annual A Feast of Carols, where she never fails to bring the house down. We are thrilled to take this opportunity to celebrate Ting Ting and honor the extraordinary contributions she has made to our chorus and our community.

Back at Our Favorite Venue

We are back at our favorite venue - the magnificent Oaks Cloister! We are so grateful to our wonderful board member Dr. Russell Harris, who graciously opens the doors of his historic home to us year after year. Built in 1900 by Joseph Miller Huston — the architect behind the Pennsylvania State Capitol — and lovingly restored by Dr. Harris in 2012, this stunning estate was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2019. Medley Sponsors get an exclusive champagne tour of this architectural gem, personally led by Dr. Harris himself.

For 152 years, Mendelssohn Chorus has been part of Philadelphia's cultural fabric — balancing beloved classics with bold new work, including our "Joyful Abundance" commissioning program. But with traditional funding sources increasingly uncertain, we need your support now more than ever. Every dollar raised at the Medley goes directly toward sustaining our 150-voice chorus, nurturing artistry, and making sure choral music remains a living, breathing part of this city for generations to come.
