Our public schools are facing one of their toughest moments: a major budget shortfall, low teacher morale, and anxious families. Yet 6,000 kids are counting on us.

That’s why this year’s “Minute to Win It” fundraiser matters: to raise crucial support for our students. And what better way to do it than by remembering that adults need recess, too?

We know inviting people to come out and play may not feel obvious right now. We're not ignoring what’s hard. We're creating a moment to reconnect, laugh, and reset. That sense of connection and lightness isn’t separate from the work ahead. It’s what will fuel it.

This night is about fun—and impact. A portion of proceeds will support MFEE’s targeted math initiatives:

A multi-year third grade pilot giving students consistent, hands-on math support while partnering with families to build skills, confidence, and advocacy at home. Creating lasting change where need is greatest.
“Count on Me”, where Montclair High students lead math games in YMCA aftercare, turning practice into play while reinforcing school learning.

For 35 years, MFEE has helped Montclair public schools thrive—connecting students, families, and educators with programs, support, and resources that strengthen the whole community.
