We are Mending Hearts with Jesus and we’ve been faithfully serving the Shreveport and surrounding areas since 2015. We began by mentoring children affected by various traumas. In 2016 we started feeding our homeless community, giving them care packages and speaking life into them.

In the following year of 2017 we had our very first Spring Selah. Which is a free fun filled day for all ages; with activities, music, games, food & most importantly life changing speakers. This year we were blessed to have our 8th Annual Spring Selah.

In 2022 we were prompted to start having quarterly Selah’s. So we stepped out on faith and did just that. In that same year of 2022 we also started offering life skills classes: cooking, etiquette, financial literacy & anti-bullying. We do this great work through our own funding, a few sponsorships and minimal donations. In 2024 we took a short hiatus due to the pregnancy of our Founder.

We hope to shine a light on our work in the community—so that with your support we can do more!
