Mi Gente Together Foundation provides mental health education and emotional support to immigrant and underserved families. We empower our community through stigma-reducing campaigns and direct pathways to compassionate care.

SUPPORTERS:

State Senator Jessica Ramos will serve as Mi Gente Together’s Madrina, a role that symbolizes trust, recognition, and the value of our work across multiple levels. We also appreciate the support of elected government and the emerging leaders of our community.

Some of their messages:

“I am deeply honored and grateful to be designated as Madrina of Mi Gente Together Foundation. Access to culturally sensitive mental health support is essential, particularly for immigrant and underserved communities. I applaud the Foundation’s commitment to providing mental health education, emotional support, and pathways to care. Congratulations to Mi Gente Together Foundation and its leadership on this important milestone. I look forward to seeing the positive impact of their work for families and communities across Queens.” — State Senator Jessica Ramos.

“As a social worker and the next Assembly Member of District 34, I am so deeply grateful for the launch of Mi Gente Together. We must build and invest in the resources necessary to teach mental health and emotional literacy in our Latine and immigrant communities. I look forward to the great work of the foundation, Jean Carlos, Hugo, and the team, and to advocating for the expansion of these resources in Albany,” — said Brian Romero, Assembly Member-elect for District 34.

"Over these seven years we have learned that mental health must be accessible to all people, regardless of their economic situation, their language, or their place of origin. The creation of Mi Gente Together Foundation represents the next step in our mission: bringing education, prevention, emotional support, and community programs to those who have historically had the least access to these services." — Jean Carlos Osorio, Founder of Minds Together and President of Mi Gente Together Foundation
