Bid to Help Stop Track Tragedies

Bidding opens October 29, 2026, at noon Central time and is scheduled to close November 5, 2026, at 8 p.m. Central time. Late bids may extend item closing times.

A safe decision around railroad tracks can change everything. Minnesota Operation Lifesaver helps people make those decisions through free rail safety education and public awareness across the state.

Our trained volunteers bring presentations to students, new drivers, school bus and professional drivers, first responders, and community groups. We also give educators free resources to use in their classrooms and reach the public through events, videos, and safety campaigns. We want everyone to know how to stay safe around tracks and trains—and to always expect a train.

Your bid puts rail safety education to work

Proceeds from this silent auction will help us train and support volunteers, bring presentations and materials to more communities, and reach Minnesotans before a dangerous moment becomes a tragedy.

Our donors and partners have brought together the items and experiences you’ll find here. Explore the listings, find something you love, and place a bid that supports safer communities.

Winspire travel packages: bidding and redemption

These travel experiences support Minnesota Operation Lifesaver through the amount raised above the supplier’s package cost. Each listed travel lot is one package for two people. The winning bid covers only the inclusions listed in that package’s full supplier description.

Pay Minnesota Operation Lifesaver after winning. MN OL will provide your Winning Bidder Letter, package flyer and full Final Collateral description.
MN OL submits your full name, phone number and email address to Winspire to fulfill your purchase.
After MN OL pays Winspire, Winspire emails your booking voucher and sends MN OL a copy. Watch for travelinfo@winspireme.com and check spam. The bidder letter estimates approximately 2–4 weeks; payment and processing affect timing.
Complete the redemption form in your voucher. Winspire assigns a booking agent, who will contact you by email and assist with trip-specific arrangements.

Plan ahead: Begin redemption promptly. The full supplier descriptions require booking within one year of purchase, travel within two years, and at least 60 days’ advance notice for travel requests. Availability, blackout dates and non-refundable purchase terms apply. Read the full description before bidding.

Winspire can help arrange airfare, upgrades, extra nights and additional guests; these are not automatically included in the winning bid. Winspire may also send travel promotions, with an option to opt out. For payment or handoff questions, contact mnoperationlifesaver@gmail.com or 651-328-3259.

Thank you for helping Minnesota Operation Lifesaver bring free rail safety education to more communities.
