My name is Monét Nyree — a multidisciplinary artist, photographer, creative strategist, and mother building a life and business rooted in wellness, legacy, and community upliftment.

I come from a lineage of resilient, resourceful women, and I carry that lineage forward through my art, my creative work, and the way I show up for my community. I am the first person in my family to graduate from college, and with that accomplishment came a responsibility I deeply honor: to build something lasting, something healing, and something that serves others.

For the past several years, I have used my creativity as a tool for empowerment.

I have:

Created artwork that now lives inside multiple San Diego County buildings
Collaborated with dozens of community organizations, nonprofits, libraries, gardens, and local businesses
Served over 80 clients through photography, visual storytelling, branding, and creative direction
Hosted youth workshops, creative offerings, community activations, and healing-centered events
Made contributions to art, culture, mothers, marginalized communities, and creative entrepreneurs

All of my work — from portraits to collage, from workshops to consulting — centers on wellness, self-determination, and legacy-building. Whether I am photographing a mother with her child, supporting an entrepreneur with their brand identity, or guiding young people through creative exploration, my mission remains constant:

To empower, to uplift, and to activate creativity as a path to healing, stability, and growth.

Why I’m Fundraising

As a mother and a creative entrepreneur, the journey has not been linear. I have weathered financial instability, housing insecurity, inconsistent income streams, and the challenges of building a business without a financial safety net. I am currently navigating a hardship season while still showing up for clients, community, and my daughter.

I am fundraising because I am ready to build a stable, structured, and sustainable foundation for myself, for my child, and for the people I serve.

This fundraiser directly supports:

✔ Officially Launching my new business:

Monét Nyree Creative Services, LLC

A wellness- and legacy-centered creative studio supporting mothers, creatives, entrepreneurs, and organizations through visual storytelling, creative direction, branding, workshops, and community offerings.

✔ Establishing stability and housing security

So I can continue serving my community without operating from survival. $3,000 of these funds will be allocated toward housing as I am currently behind on my rent.

✔ Expanding community-centered creative work

Youth workshops, mother-focused offerings, creative gatherings, and low-cost events that uplift San Diego families and artists.

✔ Strengthening my capacity to serve my clients

Through equipment, workshops, licensing, and resources that elevate the quality and reach of my work.
